Been fortunate enough to work as a part time freelance storyboard artist and animator at Design Laboratory Inc in Bellevue WA since the start of this year. The job has really given me a much needed boost of confidence in my abilities as an artist, was starting to fesr that I wouldn't achieve my career goal. It has opened more doors into networking for me, hoping it will help me find steady work soon too as it is also an arts hiring agency. 

Some of my friend have moved to burbank, CAA, over the past few years and aquired jobs at companies like nickelodeon, disney, and dreamworks. I'm hoping things will work out for me to move there so I can join them!

hello lovely art people,

So I've gotten married, adopted a dog and a cat, and moved into an apartment with my hubby. Life is good, now all I need is that job in the animation industry that I studied to get for 5 1/2 years. Granted I'm applying for production assistant animation/game jobs, as I've switched from my desire to do the art side (which I actually studied) and want to go instead into the organizational business side. Been looking and applying for over a year, hard stuff to get into, especially when you live in seattle (gameing country) and studied 2d animation and storyboarding. I've been told that the two don't cross over to one another very well, but that could just be one artist's bs opinion vs fact. 
It will happen eventually! Gotta keep trying and not let the whole 'it's not happening yet' thing get me down. Hard to keep goin' when you feel down. Thinking about taking a personal enrichment class on games or animation of sorts at a local college. Need to keep in the loop. I dun know anyone in the buis up here!

i will prevail! 

It has suddenly hit freezing temperatures here in Seattle, I'm  so sad whenever I go outside now. Trying to work more on my art, hope to get good things up soon.

i spilled tea all over my leg and it dribbled down onto the bed. i swear i wiped it all up with a napkin but my elbows must have some how been involved because they are suddenly quite sticky. Im too lazy to get out of bed to fix this. so annoyed right now. >:[

Yes! FINALLY, I can change my name to something not quite so ridonkulous, something that more correctly represents me and my name...
It will be weird though, no longer having any connection to that title.
I'll get over it soon.
